Artists’ reception -- Saturday evening, April 9, 2010 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Fabric — a medium traditionally owned by women artists — makes its debut through the masterful hands of painter Raoul De la Sota. Known primarily for his acrylic land and skyscapes, De la Sota temporarily retires his brushes to compose richly layered compositions made up of tiny pieces of fabric. His foray into fabric collage is an encouragement to all artists to explore new mediums to tell their stories. We invite you to stop by to read De la Sota’s new stories.
