Photographer Cidne Hart pays tribute to Guatemalans in her first one-person show at the Avenue 50 Studio’s Annex Gallery. Using her photos of Guatemalans celebrating their ancestors during their three-day national Day of the Dead holiday, she juxtaposes these photos with text about the genocide that the Guatemalan military aimed at the indigenous Mayan population during the 1980s.
