June Edmonds has exhibited in notible galleries such as the Luckman Fine Art Gallery, LA; the Fremont Gallery, Pasadena; and the California African-American Museum, LA. She is also a public artist. Some of her commissions include the MTA Pacific Station, Long Beach; the Algin Sutton Poolhouse Rec Center; and the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic. She is a graduate of San Diego State University, and received her MFA at Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia. She is currently an art instructor at Lawndale Elementary School and with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She has been teaching art for 14 years and public art for 18. June is a member of the Women's Caucus for Art, Artist's Alliance of So. Cal. and Creation Woman.
