Scruffy, a stray dog, and his half-hatched Egg don’t have a home, but they have each other. But is that enough when the going gets tough? The pair will need to use their wits and find new friends as they they tackle far distances, explore a big city, and even take the Egg to their first day of school!

Join author-illustrator Angela M. Sanchez in this special book launch for Scruffy and the Egg: Adventures on the Road, which continues the story of the LA Times-featured picture book Scruffy and the Egg.

Scruffy and the Egg tackles big issues of homelessness and single-parenthood, it is appropriate for children ages 5-8. Proceeds from book sales will allow copies to be donated to School on Wheels, Inc. and other organizations that serve families and children experiencing homelessness.
