Artist Statement:

This solo exhibition is a collection of works featuring pieces that explore the concept of grief reflected through personal experiences. A journey of healing approached in a cultural lens to showcase growth and identity reconnection. Painting narratives about life events using nature and wildlife symbolism to create a deeper relationship within their subjects. Reshaping their definition of death in a reimagined perspective as an endless beautiful cycle. As dreams being a bridge within life and death, envisioning the afterlife in a vibrant representation of memories. Honoring loved ones and depicting ancestral connection in the process. Inviting the viewer to take a moment of escapism to reflect and explore in their current state of mind.
