8×8” Fundraiser Closing Reception

Annual 8×8 Fundraiser for Avenue 50 Studio

Please join us now until the closing date of Saturday August 13,2022 at 4:00 pm when the
gavel hits the desk ending our 2022 Silent Art Auction.  Stop by every day — except Friday —
from 2pm-5pm to place your bid in person, or email us at avenue50studio@gmail.com.  As an
bonus, you can take the 8×8 you won home with you at the end of the auction.
All available artworks start at a bid of $100 and are available for bidding throughout the duration of the exhibition.

Día de los Muertos: A Community Remembers, A Community Heals, Closing Reception and Poetry Reading

Please join us for the closing reception of the exhibition and a special poetry reading of “COVID, Isolation, and Hope”, hosted by curator Consuelo G. Flores.

About: “Covid, Isolation, and Hope: Artists Respond to the Pandemic” is a new anthology of poetry edited by Rafael Alvarado, Consuelo Flores, and Richard Modiano, set for publication by Fishing Line Press. Artists were asked to write poetry based on the individual and collective experiences of life in the time of COVID-19, and the many ways we reach out in hope, towards healing.

Avenue 50 Studio and Consuelo G. Flores invites you to join us for a special reading of the poetry from this new anthology at the closing reception of Día de los Muertos: A Community Remembers, A Community Heals.
