A Revolution in the Making, Genocide by Gentrification is a contemporary look at the ever-changing landscape of Los Angeles. A story told by inner-city emerging artists led by Artwars LA in partnership with Avenue 50 Studio. It involves 20 different artists. The open mic highlights the different aspects and concerns in LA from the gorgeous hills of Highland Park to the Watts Towers and communities in between with topics as varied as neighborhood identity, body positivity, modern day colonialism, activism and the strength of the people.
