Roderick Smith presents and exhibition of acrylic paintings depicting the landscape in the realm of myth. His works evoke a strange displacement of reality with a sense of longing for the narrative. In them legends and tales are called forth from the shadows of our modern world. These are figurative tableaux illustrative in style and drawn in a manner that attempts to refrain from any notion of certainty. They exist as backdrops to the imaginative world of human longing.
