Avenue 50 Studio Satellite at Man Insurance Gallery proudly presents No Human Trace, a conceptual photography exhibition that explores the liminal space between the photographer and her subject, the photograph and the viewer, and reality and illusion. Emerging Artist Maria Di Stefano travels the nation and the world to capture photographs, on par with faux movie-stills, that tempt the viewer to see through the lens, as a portal, immerse one’s self in the image, and foreshadow the story’s ending. No Human Trace considers the evocative notions of absence and presence, and physical traces and mental images, as well as straddles the line between space, bodies, time and memory.
