Teach Your Daughters Well, Enseñe Bien a Sus Hijas, a project by Lisa Diane Wedgeworth for Animating the Archives: the Woman’s Building, collects stories, rituals and traditions from women in exchange for a functional ARTifact to create an army of women who will remind their communities to teach (stimulate, empower, elevate, educate) their daughters well.

Lisa Diane Wedgeworth is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work is rooted in storytelling. Informed by personal narratives, her work takes form as paintings, video, installation, photography and archived oral histories.
