Visual artists will paint the element of water at each Tree of Life altar along Figueroa.
The community is invited to join us as we activate the water element for our Trees of Life altars, through the reading of poetry, prayer and testimonials. Share your stories with us.

PARTICIPATING ARTIST:
Susanna Negrete is creative; equal parts artist and designer. She graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a BA in Graphic Design in 2007. And has since worked as a graphic designer while continuing to take art courses. In late 2014, she discovered printmaking and has not left its side, choosing to work in block prints and silkscreen.
She is insatiably curious when it comes to the natural world and our relationship to it; her work is born from both personal experience and playful understanding.
