American Immigrant Stories

The US is known as a melting pot of cultures, a fusion of nationalities and ethnicities. Yet, when we think of immigrants, we primarily think of Mexicans. Our exhibition American Immigrant Stories honors our new immigrants and encourages our community to hear their stories. We have asked an array of artists from Mexico, Africa, Korea, Romania, among other countries to tell us their story of immigration. Through their stories, I think we’ll be able to see a kernel of similarity in our own lives.
