Bobby Rojas is a masterful painter. His current series combines a mixture of cartoon realism and narrative. Narrative is an aspect of his work developed from his interest in comic books and he wanted his artwork to tell a story the same way a comic book did. His art is heavily influenced by Cartoon realism and the work of animators Bill Tytla and Wolfgang Reitherman.

In this series he showcases his interpretation of the different prehistoric eras in the Geologic timescale.
