Please join us for the closing reception of the exhibition and a special poetry reading of “COVID, Isolation, and Hope”, hosted by curator Consuelo G. Flores.
About: “Covid, Isolation, and Hope: Artists Respond to the Pandemic” is a new anthology of poetry edited by Rafael Alvarado, Consuelo Flores, and Richard Modiano, set for publication by Fishing Line Press. Artists were asked to write poetry based on the individual and collective experiences of life in the time of COVID-19, and the many ways we reach out in hope, towards healing.
Avenue 50 Studio and Consuelo G. Flores invites you to join us for a special reading of the poetry from this new anthology at the closing reception of Día de los Muertos: A Community Remembers, A Community Heals.
